Step 1 Contact me to Get a Free Estimate
Begin your journey to beautiful Custom Built-in Furnishings and Cabinets for your Home Office or Entertainement Areas by contacting me for a free estimate. I will schedule a day and time to meet with you personally, take accurate laser measurements of your space, and take notes of all of your preferences of style and function. I will also note the style of existing trim in the room, and the style of other cabinet doors throughout your home. My goal will be to make your custom creation appear as if it was there the day your house was built. In just a few days, I will email you a detailed Cad drawing of your creation, for your review. Once you have reviewed the drawing and requested any changes, a final draft will be sent to you from which I will be able to calculate an exact price.
Step 2 We Start the Review Process
Once you’ve approved the estimate, I will discuss with you a range of dates for a targeted start of production and also an approximate date for installation This will be based on my current schedule at that time. Typically, these large custom built-ins take me about 2 weeks to build and paint in my shop, and then I install them in one day, in about 6-8 hours. I design, build, paint and install everything myself, so you will not have strangers coming in and out of your house that were not part of the process from the beginning. I normally have 3-6 of these projects scheduled at any given time that would yield a 6-12 week lead time for your project from the date you decide to finalize. If the date range I provide is acceptable, I will send you an invoice for the initial deposit, and you will be guaranteed to start next in my schedule around the dates discussed.
Step 3 I Begin the Manufacturing Process
As I start production of your custom cabinetry, I scan through all of my notes meticulously, and also all of our electronic correspondence to make sure that everything we have discussed will be included in the manufacturing process. Although the façade of your custom cabinetry will match the Cad drawing exactly, I keep in mind specifics of interior functional hardware, lighting placement, etc. throughout the manufacturing process. During this period of time, I may reach out to you for clarification of specific details to ensure that what I install in your home is exactly what we discussed on day one. Once I have your custom cabinetry completely built, I will email you pictures of your creation along with the invoice for the 2nd deposit. At this time, I will also clarify paint or stain color choices, if that decision hasn’t already been made. Once the 2nd deposit has been received, I move forward with the paint or stain process, and at that time I am typically about 3 days from being able to start the installation.
Step 4 I Begin the Installation
After your custom cabinets are expertly crafted, loaded and ready for transport, the installation can begin. We schedule a convenient time to install your creation with precision and care, minimizing disruption to your daily life. Typically, I schedule the day of installation Monday thru Friday, with a start time of approximately 10 a.m. Installations can also be done on weekends, to work around a busy work schedule that you may have. Preparation of you space will include covering the floors within the working area with thick moving blankets. All tools used will stay on these blankets to protect your flooring, and also to minimize any dust and debris throughout the process. Once the installation is complete, and any touchups have been made, the work space will be vacuumed immaculately to make sure that your space was left exactly how I found it. All you will have to do is install your personal items and enjoy. I will ensure a perfect fit and flawless finish, transforming your space into a beautiful and functional area that you’ll love for years to come.
Step 5 Walkthrough and Approval
Once the clean-up is complete, I will conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure that every aspect of your creation meets your expectations. I will address any last-minute adjustments and make sure you are completely satisfied with the result. I will take final pictures to upload in social media, and that may also be added to my website galleries. At this time, the final payment is due. My goal is to leave you with a stunning, custom-crafted space that exceeds your expectations and will hopefully lead to a very favorable review of my efforts in bringing your creation to life.
Step 6 Give Me a Google Review
My goal is to incorporate all of your personal ideas of style and function into the deisgn of your custom built-in furnishings and cabinetry, to make it appear as if it was there the day your house was built. I believe I am uniquely suited for this approaching my 20th year in business at Triple M Furnishings, along with 16 years of large scale furniture manufacturing experience prior to 2005. I do everything myself from the initial consultation with you, the design, building and painting, to the flawless installation. Please leave me an honest review that will hopefully reflect that, for me and others to see.
